Hi Andrew

Having heard about these "fancy tuning boxes" i was interested in finding
out more
but not willing to hand over hard earned money only to find them useless! I
have heard of so called performance mods before only they didn,t work! waste
of money again
So when asked would i like to try one on MY car i thought what the hell at
least i will find out one way or the other.
Met up with Andrew at the north east region of vxlscc monthly meet.
He promtly gave me the keys to his Vectra 3.0CDTi (good job iam an honest
person could have driven away with it!) to which the engine had the tuning
box fitted (my mum,s current car is a Vectra 3.0CDTi) and boy what a
differance.
the 3.0CDti pulled right though the revs even more than mum,s does
much better throttle response with a very smooth power delivery i was
impressed
then the time came for the box to be fitted to my Astra Sport Hatch SRi
1.9CDTi 150
Andrew put the settings to "out of the box" mode
started the car up  with no extra smoke coming from the exhaust good start i
thought
on the road the car spun into live with no effort and at much lower revs
torque steer had increased as did my grin! i could feel the extra lb ft.
even in 6th gear doing only 1.5k rpm asked the car to pull away which it
much to my amazment without having to drop a gear.
got back to base and Andrew turned the chip settings up a bit.
started the car very little extra smoke from the exhaust.
on the road well 1st gear was manic,2nd gear manic,3rd gear manic,4th gear
manic then i ran out of road! and in 000mph!
my Astra felt more like my mum,s 3.0CDTi for power!
fantasic power delivery
huge grin on my face

this box did every thing that was promised and more simply brilliant and a
huge bonus of that it can be fitted in minutes.
i was so impressed i ordered mine there and then.
iam confident that i will be able to compete with the VXR version of the
Astra for pulling power(yes i have driven a VXR Astra)
